black sun
Black Sun is an auditory cinema programme in which the sense of sight is switched off. Dispersed in the space of the large stage of Teatr Polski in Wrocław, the spectators become actors in a screening of their own imagination. They are affected by word and sound. It’s dark. Black. There is no screen and there is no image. When the expected stimuli are not sufficient, the mind itself begins to produce an imaginative surplus. The collective production of afterimages, hallucinations and illusions begins. The word takes on psychoactive attributes. The memory of what is not there begins to work on its own…
